How Sagent Remains a Tech100 Winner
This past year, team Sagent relentlessly focused on delivering our future-of-servicing vision, which includes our latest tech advancement Dara, servicing’s single solution to unify all data and user experiences for servicers and homeowners across the entire loan lifecycle. The importance of delivering modern, cutting-edge technology to our industry is what defines and sets apart fintech leaders, which is why we continue to develop new solutions that push the boundaries beyond servicing’s status quo.
With more exciting advancements ahead, Sagent is empowering our customers with automation-powered efficiency that gives them time back in their day to focus on what’s most important – building and maintaining homeowner relationships.
Sagent is Pushing Forward Innovative Servicing Solutions
The 2024 launch of Dara motivated our team to work harder and faster to deliver successful outcomes, including modern digital experiences for both servicers and homeowners (while ensuring lower costs and offering built-in, real-time compliance).
As HousingWire highlighted,
This year (2024), [Sagent] launched Dara, a groundbreaking servicing system that unifies data and user experiences across the entire servicing lifecycle, offering servicers a way to reduce costs, improve efficiency and enhance the homeowner experience.
Dara’s six key components – Core, Consumer, Default, Movement, Data and AI – work together to create a single solution to unify the servicing ecosystem. Sagent’s advances in real-time data, AI, and cloud-native API improve servicers’ options to modernize and improve their operations.
Dara isn’t the only one of Sagent’s products that powers America’s top servicers, our suite of platforms includes:
- Sagent CARE, a consumer platform that connects a modern, bank-on-your-phone experience for homeowners with a seamless human touchpoint from servicers. It allows servicers to easily manage performing and non-performing loans and enables borrowers to self-serve for payments, escrows, and more. CARE uses AI to monitor customer sentiment analyses and deliver natural language routing to call centers.
- LoanServ, a reliable servicing system of record for all mortgage and consumer loans. LoanServ empowers servicers to exceed investor, auditor, regulator, and borrower expectations through the loan process, all while lowering costs.
- DataScape, a cloud-based framework to simplify and improve how businesses and servicers access and use their data to manage operations and gain business insights.
- Sagent TEMPO, a thoughtful platform used to aid the modern consumer loss mitigation cycle through digital management of every detail for borrowers, investors, vendors, and regulators.
Sagent’s variety of platforms and services are revolutionizing the way servicers and homeowners navigate the lifecycle of the loan process.
Sagent By the Numbers
We had a busy year powering and partnering with America’s top servicers and banks to change the way the industry moves through the loan servicing cycle. Here are a few highlights of what Sagent accomplished in 2024:
- The release of Dara, which can offer a 40% reduction in total operational costs for servicers.*
- Dara’s use of automation for servicers and homeowners, including the implementation of AI, makes Dara AI Docs capable of reading and analyzing over 300 kinds of mortgage servicing documents – including pay stubs, deeds, and the patented ability to detect stamps and signatures – at a rate of more than 3,000 pages per minute and with accuracy greater than 95%.
- So far, Dara AI Docs has seamlessly and efficiently extracted, indexed, and classified more than 3.3 billion documents, with a significant decrease in cost-per-loan (CPL) for servicers.

* Based on a benchmark model of aggregate ops cost-per-loan reductions across boarding, cash processing, escrows, statements, call center, IA/IR, collections, loss mitigation, foreclosure, bankruptcy, claims, QA/C, and collateral management. This excludes other corporate cost (e.g. finance and HR) and cost of servicing platform.
