And to show that we’re on the right path of modernization, this year Sagent was honored with 15 prestigious awards from HousingWire, Women We Admire, Progress in Lending and more. Additionally, Sagent was named a HousingWire Tech 100 Company for the fourth-straight year and recognized by BuiltIn as a Best Place to Work in three categories.

Geno Paluso – CEO
The HousingWire Vanguard Award recognizes those at the forefront of progress and cutting-edge innovation in the housing ecosystem, a quality that is no better embodied by than our CEO, Geno Paluso. Geno’s steadfast leadership during the roll-out of Dara, work to grow Sagent’s employee base by 12.5%, and commitment to relentless innovation are just some of the many reasons why Geno was honored as a 2024 HousingWire Vanguard.
Geno, a retired U.S. Navy captain and highly decorated military leader, was also honored with the prestigious American Hero Award from HireQuest Inc. and the Higher Quest Foundation. This award honors service members for their meritorious action in combating the global war on terror. We are honored to have such a distinguished and dedicated leader at the helm of Sagent and congratulate Geno on this well-deserved recognition of his service and sacrifice!
Priya Seenath – Chief of Staff
Sagent ‘s Priya Seenath, a once-in-a-generation transformational force, was honored with three outstanding awards, highlighting her unmatched ability to execute successfully – no matter the circumstances. Priya was recognized as a Stevie Awards Finalist for Female Executives of the Year for her commitment to excellence and customer success. Women We Admire’s 2024 Top 50 Women Chiefs of Staff, highlighted her consistent focus on relentless innovation. Finally, she was named a lending luminary by Progress in Lending, due to her dedication to revolutionizing the servicing industry. Join us in congratulating Priya on these well-deserved honors!
Bart Bailey – VP Product Management
The HousingWire Tech Trendsetters award, recognizes the next generation of technology leaders serving the housing economy, leaders like Bart Bailey, relentlessly determined to deliver the best technology for servicers and homeowners. Bart’s vision and leadership pushes forward Sagent’s mission to fundamentally change the dynamics of the servicing industry.
Michelle Mursten – VP of People Operations
We were thrilled, but not surprised, to see Michelle Mursten, named a 2024 HousingWire Women of Influence. HousingWire’s Women of Influence Awards recognize women “who are driving the housing economy forward and have made notable contributions to their businesses and the industry at large.” Michelle, the leader of Sagent’s global expansion, encapsulates what this award represents, perfectly.
Shelli Girard – VP Software Development
Here at Sagent, we are proud to have many powerful and impactful female leaders, including Shelli Girard, VP of Software Development, who is moving the needle for STEM women who often must face the challenges that come with entering a male-dominated industry. Shelli’s leadership earned her recognition as one of the Top 50 Women Leaders of Orlando by Women We Admire.
Darby Campbell – Head of Product Development, Dara
As the Head of Product Development for Dara, Darby Campbell played an instrumental role in Sagent’s successful launch of the platform in February. So, when honored with HousingWire’s Rising Star award, it came as no surprise given his reliable partnership, relentless work ethic, and relevant knowledge to create better outcomes for the industry at large.
Stefan Sowder – Director of Brand Marketing
This year, Stefan Sowder was honored with HousingWire’s Marketing Leader Award, given to “the most creative and influential marketing minds of the housing economy.” Over the past year, Stefan’s marketing leadership has touched and positively impacted nearly every facet of the organization and played a pivotal role in the successful launch of Dara. Congrats Stefan!
Kathryn Flanagan – Sr. Director, Customer Success
If we had two words to describe Kat Keeton Flanagan, they would be “empathetic” and “relentless”. Kat’s compassionate nature and unwavering focus on unlocking maximum value for customers through Sagent’s suite of real-time enterprise, default, and consumer platforms made her a clear choice for the 2024 Mortgage Women Magazine Mortgage Star Award.
