Sagent CEO Geno Paluso Honored with HireQuest American Hero Award

We are thrilled to announce that Sagent’s CEO, Geno Paluso, has been recognized with the prestigious American Hero Award from HireQuest Inc. and the Higher Quest Foundation. This award honors service members for their meritorious action in combating the global war on terror.

Geno, a retired U.S. Navy Captain and highly decorated military leader, received the award from retired United States Marine Major General James Everett Livingston, a Medal of Honor recipient, during the 2024 American Hero Awards Ceremony held earlier this month on the USS Yorktown in Mount Pleasant, S.C.

The American Hero Awards, formerly known as the Acrux/Trojan Labor Awards, recognize the sacrifices our servicemen and women make for our country. Each year, two awards are presented: the Ultimate American Hero Award, given to the family member of a service member killed while serving in the global war on terror, and the American Hero Award, which Geno received this year.

Prior to joining Sagent, Geno served as a Navy SEAL and commander of multiple SEAL Teams deployed to Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. He also served as Commandant of Cadets at The Citadel, a senior military college in Charleston, South Carolina.

At Sagent, Geno brings his leadership skills and commitment to excellence to drive innovation in the highly regulated mortgage servicing space. His focus on operational excellence complements Sagent’s industry-leading technology and deep commitment to customer satisfaction.

We are honored to have such a distinguished and dedicated leader at the helm of Sagent. Please join us in congratulating Geno on this well-deserved recognition of his service and sacrifice!
