Fresh off of our recent executive addition of Fannie Mae vet Marianne Sullivan coming aboard as Sagent COO, we’re pleased to welcome yet another mortgage visionary, Priya Seenath, to Sagent’s team as Senior Vice President, Chief of Staff, Technology and Engineering. Priya will be a crucial asset to advancing Sagent’s development of the industry’s first and only cloud-native platforms that power homeownership and loan servicing lifecycles for servicers, consumers, investors, and regulators in the highly regulated $13T mortgage servicing sector.
Priya brings a unique perspective to Sagent’s senior leadership team; Priya has nurtured the relationship between Sagent and Freedom Mortgage, the #1 government lender in America, from Freedom’s side for the last nine years, collaborating intimately with Sagent’s team to ensure the partnership flourished to empower reciprocal growth.

This will be the latest chapter in Priya’s career as a mortgage fintech bellwether and scale-execution specialist, with more than 25 years of experience in the banking and mortgage industry, specifically in data quality and customer experience. Most recently, she served as Senior Vice President of Servicing at Freedom Mortgage. One of the inaugural senior leaders at Freedom, Priya’s impact was profound, helping grow their book from $49B when she joined to roughly $500B at the point of her exit.
Her accomplishments at Freedom include:
- Implementing a robust RCA process around complaints that has since been adopted across the entire organization, leading to a 55% reduction in complaints and markedly increased customer satisfaction, with customer satisfaction scores at 91.5 (up from the lows 80s) at the time of Priya’s departure.
- Standing up an expansive issue management framework which has since been adopted across the org and is now used as a repository for all identified opportunities, with a robust interrogation and remediation process to instill controls to eliminate repeat complaints or issues.
At Sagent, Priya will help speed up this specialized modernization of the largest sector in consumer finance. Sagent has the industry’s only enterprise, default, and consumer mortgage servicing platforms that are all synced by real-time-data.
